West Allis Police investigating attempted carjacking with shots fired near 64th and Grant
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis Police are currently investigating an attempted carjacking with shots fired.
It happened around 10:21 p.m. on Tuesday near 64th and Grant.
The investigation revealed that the male victim was backing his vehicle into his garage from the alley. A sedan with a temporary plate then pulled up to his bumper and a teenage suspect got out, pointing a silver and black handgun at the victim in an attempt to steal his car.
The suspect then fired rounds into the air.
A second suspect attempted to steal the victim's car but was scared off by the victim in his wife.
Officers recovered two spent rounds and an unspent round in the alley.
The first suspect is described as a black male, late teens, approximately 5'10 to 5'11, approximately 200 pounds with short hair.
The second suspect is described as a black male, late teens, 6'0 to 6'1, with short hair. He was last seen wearing a white jacket.
The investigation remains ongoing.
