Whitefish Bay police increase presence near Cahill Square Park after student reports suspicious man

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police in Whitefish Bay will have a greater presence near Cahill Square Park after a girl said a man followed her. 

The 10-year-old was walking to school alone for the first time Friday. She noticed a man following her and tried to get away through the park's baseball field.

She told police he picked up his pace and then left when she started running.

The student was unable to describe the man, only identifying that he was an older, white male.
