Wildlife in Need Center to offer behind-the-scenes tours during special event 🦉
OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wildlife in Need Center in Oconomowoc is slated to open its doors for a special summer Meet-n-Greet, which includes behind-the-scenes tours.
The aim of the event is to educate attendees about Wisconsin’s native animals and the rehabilitation efforts undertaken by the center.
On Saturday, July 15, folks will get a glimpse of WINC’s rehabilitation hospital, an area typically not accessible to the public. The tours are scheduled for 10 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Wildlife Animal Ambassadors and learn about their stories and species.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for individuals aged 12 and up.
Proceeds raised during the event will support WINC’s mission. Suggested donation for the Meet-n-Greet is $2 per person, with tickets being available to purchase by clicking here.
