Wisconsin DMV extends license renewal for drivers age 60 and older

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- The deadline to renew expired licenses for drivers age 60 and over has been extended to May 21 due to continued health risks from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

The Wisconsin DMV estimates this will impact 62,000 state drivers.

Those who cannot use the new online driver license renewal or need a real ID can reduce their time in the service center by beginning the process online.
