Woman shot dead during attempted robbery

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police are investigating an overnight homicide on the city's northwest side.
Police say a woman was shot during a robbery attempt in front of a home after parking her car. The incident happened just before midnight Friday in the 5800 block of W. Roosevelt Ave.
The victim, a 50 year old woman from Milwaukee was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not yet been released. Milwaukee Police have not reported any arrests.
