Woman shot while sleeping in a home near 20th and Burleigh

MILWAUKEE -- A 47-year-old woman is recovering at a local hospital after being shot in her sleep.
Milwaukee police say the woman was asleep in a home in the 3000 block of N. 20th Street when she was shot in the left calf around 3:40 a.m.
Police do not believe she was the intended target. The woman is being treated at Froedtert Hospital.
