Woman stabbed near 51st and Congress

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 26-year-old woman is recovering after being stabbed Thursday afternoon.

Milwaukee Police say a 17-year-old suspect stabbed the victim several times around 4 p.m. near 51st and Congress. Police say the woman was found near 76th and Good Hope.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

MPD is looking for a known suspect.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A woman is recovering after being stabbed three times on Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. near 51st and Congress.

Milwaukee Police say the woman was found near 76th and Good Hope.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the victim is 26-years-old.

According to police, the victim and the suspect knew each other.

Police are still searching for the suspect.

The investigation remains ongoing.
