World Naked Bike Ride returns to Milwaukee this weekend

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- This Saturday, June 22, the fourth annual World Naked Bike Ride will roll through Milwaukee. 

Clothing is optional and participants will "bare as they dare" for the event hosted by La Cage, located in Walker's Point. 

According to their website, the ride peaceful protest bike ride promoting body positivity, cyclist awareness and energy independence.

Organizers say the event symbolizes freedom and body positivity, but also seeks to educate people about the importance of bicycle transportation as a sustainable and viable mode of commuting.

The festivities begin at noon at La Cage, 801 S 2nd Street, and will include music, body painting, vendors, and yoga. 

Kickstands are up at noon for the ride.
