For nearly a year drivers have had to deal with slower driving conditions as they approached the Zoo Interchange along I-94 WB and 68th St. The Zipper Merge, which started in the Fall of 2014 as part of the Zoo Interchange Construction Project has now ended.
Drivers will now be able to take full advantage of all three lanes in the westbound direction. Drivers should see an improvement in both their Morning and Evening commute times.
The 70th St. on ramp to I-94 WB is set to open later this week.
