Mega Millions ticket worth $1M sold in Chippewa County
MADISON, Wis.(CBS 58) -- Wisconsin has a big winner!
A $1,000,000 Mega Millions winning ticket was sold at Kwik Trip on 1625 Woodard Road in Bloomer. The winning ticket matched five of five numbers (8-24-30-45-61) but not the Mega Ball (12) from the Tuesday, August 1 drawing.
The estimated annuity jackpot for the Friday, Aug. 4 drawing is $1.25 billion, with an estimated cash value of $625.3 million, making this the 4th largest Mega Millions jackpot and the 6th largest U.S. Lottery jackpot ever. The last Mega Millions jackpot was hit on April 18 in New York for $20 million.
