CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a deadly shooting that left one person dead and another hurt Tuesday night, Nov. 4, near 39th and Lancaster.
The shooting happened around 9:40 p.m., according to police.
A 31-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene due to fatal gunshot wounds, while a 26-year-old's injuries are considered not to be life-threatening, and that person was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
A person was taken into custody at the scene, and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, according to police.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
