1 dead, 1 in serious condition after double shooting near 68th and Fond Du Lac

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that took place late Monday, Oct. 9.

Police say the shooting occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday near 68th and Fond Du Lac Ave. One victim, a 25-year-old, was taken to a local hospital but died due to their injuries. A second victim, also a 25-year-old, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation, and police are seeking the suspect or suspects involved.
