1 dead, 2 injured by gunshots Monday night

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person is dead and two others are injured in two separate shootings Monday night, Aug. 30.

Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that occurred around 9:35 p.m. near N 24th Pl. and Capitol Dr. 

The victim is a 24-year-old Milwaukee man. He was located in the area suffering from serious gunshot injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased as a result for his injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police are looking for unknown suspects. 

Another shooting injured a 17-year-old Milwaukee female and 18-year-old Milwaukee male near N 12th St and West Walnut St. 

Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The first victim was transported to a local hospital from the scene and treated for her injury. The second victim presented himself to a local hospital.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting appear to be the result of an on-going feud and are under investigation.
