93-year-old woman killed, 2 injured in crash on I-94 WB near Brookfield

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Details about the victims of a fatal crash that took place Monday, Sept. 30 have been released.

The victim who died has been identified as 93-year-old Mary E. Phillips of Colgate. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, Phillips was not wearing a seatbelt.

The two other women occupying the vehicle survived the crash, including a 57-year-old and a 70-year-old.


WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person has died, and two others are injured, following a crash on I-94 westbound at Moorland Road near Brookfield Monday, Sept. 30.

According to Wisconsin State Patrol, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was driving westbound just after 4 p.m. when a vehicle struck it, causing the Jeep to strike the median wall. The Jeep then lost control, crossed all lanes of traffic, and struck the concrete barrier on the right shoulder. 

All three occupants of the vehicle were taken to an area hospital, where once has since died of their injuries.
