New Berlin crash at Calhoun and Beloit, 1 person dead

NEW BERLIN, Wis (CBS 58) -- New Berlin Police Department (NBFD) and New Berlin Fire Department (NBFD) responded to a two vehicle accident at approximately 6:39 a.m. on Sat., April 23 at the intersection of Calhoun and Beloit roads. 

NBFD extricated one person from their vehicle, who was then was transported via the Med Unit for Advanced Life Support Treatment to Froedtert Hospital Trauma Center. Despite efforts the 39-year-old man from Greenfield, was pronounced dead by trauma staff at Froedtert. 

The driver of the other vehicle was treated for injuries at the scene and released by NBFD paramedics. 

Officials say that the accident is still under investigation and no further details are being released at the present time.
