MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old boy has been charged in the homicide of 18-year-old Jaylan Powell.
According to a criminal complaint, the shooting stemmed from an arrangement between the 15-year-old and the victim to trade firearms at Carver Park.
The complaint says the 15-year-old arrived with two friends. One friend stayed in the car while the 15-year-old and the other friend approached Powell to make the trade.
Investigators say everyone involved was armed. The complaint alleges Powell set his firearm down, and the 15-year-old pointed his pistol at Powell and fired, before running back to the car with all three firearms.
When questioned, the teen denied being at the park or being involved in the shooting.
