Man accused in kidnapping of Milwaukee 7-year-old appears in court, bond set at $100K

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man accused of kidnapping a 7-year-old boy in Milwaukee last week appeared in court for the first time Friday, July 18.
Suspect Corey Williams had a cash bond set at $100,000 with a no contact order in place for Jamal White and his father.
Williams told police he and two others initially planned to rob the child's mom, and when they didn't find her, they decided to rob his dad.
Surveillance video shows a 14-year-old and 38-year-old, who haven't been charged yet, jump out of a car with guns drawn. When the dad runs inside, they grab the boy.
The kidnappers then called White's mom to demand money.
Once an Amber Alert was issued, the two other suspects left Williams' home, where he was arrested after being found hiding in the attic.
