1 seriously injured after school bus vs. motorcycle crash in Beaver Dam

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is seriously injured after a motorcycle and bus crash that happened in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, Sept. 4. 

It happened around 3:37 p.m. Deputies from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the area near State Highway 33 and Crystal Lake Road. 

According to the sheriff's office, the investigation showed that a 62-year-old man from Beaver Dam was traveling east on Highway 33 on a motorcycle. A 54-year-old man from Beaver Dam was operating a school bus, traveling north on Crystal Lake. The school bus collided with the motorcycle at the intersection. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. 

The sheriff's office says the driver of the bus was uninjured, and there was no one else on the school bus at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
