10 park and rides in Southeastern Wisconsin will undergoes construction

Wisconsin Department of Transportation will begin a rehabilitation project of 10 park and ride lots around southeastern Wisconsin on May 8.

Location Schedule Nature of Work Traffic impacts
I-94 to County F (Waukesha Co.)  May 8 to early June    Signage replacement, pavement marking, new fencing               Initially, approximately 1/2 of stalls will be closed. Around late May, the lot will be fully closed.
 I-94 and S. 76th Street (State Fair Park and Ride)(Milwaukee Co.)   May 8 to early June   Sewer and electrical upgrades, pavement replacement     Lot will be fully closed. An adjacent lot to the west is available. The bus stop on Kearney St. to be temporarily located on the southwest corner of Main St./Adler St. and S. 76th St.
I-43 and WIS 100 (Brown Deer Road) (Milwaukee Co.) May 15 to early June Pavement marking, signage and lighting replacement    Approximately 1/3 of the stalls will be closed.
I-94 and County G (Waukesha Co.)  May 22 to mid-June   Signage replacement, pavement marking Approximately, 1/2 of the stalls will be closed.

                      

Stark Pavement Corp. has been awarded the $1.2 million contract. Please note its schedule of work is weather dependent and subject to change.
