WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin State Fair came to an end Sunday night and it ended up being a very special fair for Catherine Krause.
She turned 100 in April and has been to the fair every year for the past 80 years. Her streak of going to the fair was in jeopardy when she fractured her ankle after her birthday party, but Bell Ambulance stepped in to make sure she could get to the fairgrounds.
"Of all the gifts I got for my 100th birthday, this beats them. This is the top. I'm thrilled. I can't even tell you," Krause said.
Catherine says while she loves everything about the fair, her favorite part is the people and seeing her friends.
