KENOSHA, CBS 58 – Each year, the Kenosha Sport Fishing and Conservation Association helps raise around 40,000 Chinook salmon fingerlings at the Kenosha Salmon Rearing Pond. After a few weeks, the small fish grow and are released into the Pike River and Lake Michigan.
Those efforts end up benefiting sports fishermen across the state, including Chad Biersach and his charter fishing business, C&D Charters.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Kathryn Merck learned how months of preparation build the anticipation for an exciting fishing season in Southeast Wisconsin.
