MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Pet lovers from across the area were at the lakefront on Saturday, Sept. 23.
It's the 10th annual Fromm Petfest at the Summerfest grounds.
Dogs of all breeds could try dock diving, and agility courses. There was a costume contest, and even a pool party.
Proceeds from some of the attractions are donated to local non-profits through Petfest's community give-back program, Petfest Pals.
"We're all about building communities and we thought we really need to take care of our home base which is the Milwaukee area. So, we brought Petfest as a way for you to bring your entire family out. said Bryan Nieman, Brand Director and 5th generation family member of Fromm Family Pet Food.
"Your dog, your cat, your kids, your grandma your grandpa. It's just the perfect way to enjoy Milwaukee with the entire family," said Nieman.
That costume contest was judged in part by CBS 58's morning anchor Mike Curkov and Telemundo Wisconsin reporter Paulo Alvarado. More than 50 dogs participated. The winner was Tic-Tac and his flight crew in the hot pink plane.
