MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former vendor at the now-closed Crossroads Collective food hall has found a new home on Milwaukee's east side.

Plant-based eatery Temple Goddess Cafe announced plans to reopen in the space previously occupied by Lafayette Place on N. Farwell Avenue and Lafayette.

Temple Goddess Cafe says they're committed to being almost entirely gluten-free, with dishes inspired by Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Indian/Asian, and American fusion cuisines.

They'll serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, six days a week, from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

"To all the wonderful friends and patrons we have come to know over the past 15 months, and to those we have yet to meet, we look forward to bringing you some new and exciting menu options in a very chill, Zen-like atmosphere,” said Evanthia Savva, co-owner of Temple Goddess Cafe.

A grand opening is planned for Sunday, June 1.
