135,000 pounds of Banquet Salisbury steak products recalled after complaints of bone pieces
WASHINGTON, Wis. (CBS 58) – More than 135,000 pounds of frozen Salisbury steak products are being recalled because they may contain pieces of bone.
The problem was discovered after Conagra Brands, Inc. received several complaints and three reports of minor oral injuries.
The products being recalled are 27-oz carton of “Banquet Family Size 6 Salisbury Steaks & Brown Gravy made with chicken, pork, and beef, grill marks added.”The Salisbury steak and brown gravy products were produced on March 10, 2018 and have lot code 5006 8069 10 05 and a “best buy” date of September 1, 2019.
The affected products also have the USDA mark of inspection with establishment number P-115 on the side panel of the package.
Anyone who may have bought the product is urged not to consume them and instead throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
