MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bike riders gathered for the 15th annual Bike Bazaar at Riverside University High School on Saturday, March 16.
It comes as warmer temps are driving more people to head outside and enjoy the weather.
The Bike Bazaar provides a space to buy new and used bikes, parts, and accessories from a number of vendors, along with arts and crafts.
The event is also a fundraiser for the Milwaukee Mountain Bike Team, which is a part of the Milwaukee Rec Department. They are working to get hometown kids excited about bike riding.
"Seeing the kids be here, be a part of the community, get to know vendors, get to know the gear, sell things, be excited to be a part of it, it's great. there's nothing I love more than being in the middle of the woods with no phone, and I love to see kids starting to love that too," said Raquel Tiyaga with the Milwaukee Mountain Bike Team.
The Milwaukee Mountain Bike team tells us they're looking for more coaches, so if you have a love for biking, you can head to the Milwaukee Rec Department's website to volunteer.
