16-year-old critically injured in shooting near 23rd and Capitol

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old critically injured Monday night, Jan. 12. 

It happened around 6:10 p.m. near 23rd and Capitol. 

The Milwaukee Fire Department says they transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. 

Police say a suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
