18 people killed in 15-day span in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is seeing unprecedented violence for another year in a row. 

The Milwaukee County medical examiner reports there have been 18 homicides in 15 days.

The victims range in age from 14-52. 

A total of 28 people were killed or injured in five shootings on Friday, May 13 -- including 17 people who were hurt in a mass shooting on Water Street. Police made ten arrests and seized several firearms.

Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson announced a two-day curfew for people 21 and under. 

The youngest victim, 14-year-old Heavion Scott, was shot while hanging out with friends near 20th and Olive on May 11.
