MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that took place Saturday, Dec. 11, near 41st and Lancaster.

Authorities say the shooting happened at approximately 5:45 a.m. Saturday.

Milwaukee police say that a 24-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 22-year-old Milwaukee man arrived at a local hospital for treatment of gunshot injuries.

Officials report that the female victim sustained fatal gunshot injuries.

Police say that the male suffered only non-fatal injuries.

Milwaukee police reportedly continue to seek unknown suspects.
