3 dead after 2-vehicle crash in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Three people are dead after a crash in Sheboygan County on Saturday, Dec. 21. 

It happened in the village of Kohler around 11:20 a.m. 

According to the Kohler Police Department, they were called to the area of Lower Falls Road near I-43 for a two-vehicle accident. 

Police say the preliminary investigation indicates a westbound vehicle, driven by a 35-year-old from Sheboygan Falls, left the roadway to the north, and overcorrected before crossing into the path of an eastbound vehicle. That vehicle was driven by a 77-year-old male with a 77-year-old passenger. Both were from Sheboygan. 

The two occupants of the eastbound vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the 35-year-old died while on the way to the hospital. 

The crash remains under investigation.
