32-year-old dies after 2-vehicle crash in Racine Co.
RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police are investigating a deadly crash that happened in Racine County on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
It happened around 3:32 p.m. in the Town of Norway.
According to the Racine County Sheriff's Office, they were dispatched to the intersection of Hwy K and N. Beaumont for a two-vehicle accident.
Preliminary investigation showed a 32-year-old from Walworth Co. was stopped at a stop sign on Beaumont. The sheriff's office says it is suspected he was unfamiliar with the area and pulled out in front of a utility truck traveling east on HWY K. The utility truck driver is a 28-year-old from Racine Co.
The sheriff's office says the 32-year-old succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The driver of the utility truck maintained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. There was no sign of impairment for either of the drivers, according to the sheriff's office. There were no other occupants in either of the vehicles.
The incident is under investigation.
