3rd annual Doggy Day returns to Deer District April 13 🐾
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Celebrating our four-legged friends, Doggy Day is returning to Deer District Saturday, April 13.
According to a news release, the event -- sponsored by Central Bark and Tito's Handmade Vodka, will benefit Winston’s Wishes and its mission to help local pups in need. Winston’s Wishes is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting dogs who aren’t doing well in the busy shelter environment, senior dogs, or dogs who need extra care.
As a MADACC transfer partner, Winston’s Wishes is focused on helping dogs in need right here in our local community.
Doggy Day will include 80 local vendors, food trucks and beverages, entertainment from DJ Gee-A, prizes and activities for all to enjoy.
The event is free and open to the public and their well-socialized, leashed dogs. Event organizers ask owners to refrain from retractable leashes and aversive collars.
