Complaint: 4 arrested following 15-year-old being shot, left dead in burning car
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Four Milwaukee residents have been charged in connection with the killing of a 15-year-old boy whose body was found in a burned vehicle earlier this month, according to a criminal complaint.
Milwaukee police and fire officials discovered the remains of Makai Neal inside a stolen, charred Honda Accord on Monday, Feb. 10. Investigators determined the victim had been shot multiple times before the vehicle was set on fire.
The complaint alleges that Charles Edward Roby, 21, shot the victim before the car was burned. DJ Jamyele Chandler, 24, and Shatianna Cara Lynn Williams, 21, are accused of assisting in disposing of evidence, while Shatise Maria Williams, 39, is accused of aiding in the crime’s aftermath.
Surveillance footage, phone records and witness statements linked the defendants to the incident, according to the complaint.
Authorities executed search warrants at multiple locations, reportedly recovering firearms, including a modified handgun investigators believe was used in the shooting.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police report four people have been arrested in connection with the homicide of Makai Neal, a 15-year-old boy who was found dead in a burnt car in Milwaukee.
Police tell CBS 58, a 39-year-old woman, a 24-year-old man, a 21-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested in connection.
On Feb. 10, police were called to 26th and Locust for a car fire, finding Neal dead in the vehicle.
Family and friends held a vigil for Neal a week after his death.
According to police, criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
