41-year-old man dead after shooting near 56th and North

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting on Sunday, May 5.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. near 56th and North.
The victim sustained fatal gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, despite life saving measures, according to police.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said the victim was a man.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee Police continue to seek unknown suspects.
