MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 42-year-old Milwaukee man died following a crash near 64th and Hampton on Wednesday, Aug. 30. 

It happened just before 2:30 p.m., when police say a driver collided with one vehicle and then a second before striking a tree. 

The driver of the striking vehicle was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The occupants of the two other vehicles, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man and 23-year-old Milwaukee woman, were taken to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
