Celebrate Independence Day 2024 in southeast Wisconsin. CBS 58 has compiled a list of fireworks, parades, events and more for you to plan ahead. 

BROOKFIELD

Fireworks: 

Thursday, July 4 beginning at approximately 9:17 p.m. 

Activities: 

All Independence Day activities will be held Thursday, July 4

Parade steps off at 10 a.m. - Calhoun Road will close at approximately 9:30 a.m. 

Bike decorating - July 3 at Brookfield Public Library Beginning at 11 a.m. in the library's east parking lot to decorate your bike for the parade on July 4.

Flag Raising Ceremony - The Flag Raising Ceremony will take place on the Civic Plaza immediately following the parade.

Family Fest -Family Fest is in full swing at Mitchell Park from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. This annual pre-fireworks event features family-oriented activities and a variety of food, and entertainment. Come on out to the park earlier and find parking, have a picnic, enjoy the activities and entertainment, and stay for the fireworks extravaganza.

CEDARBURG

Fireworks: 

Thursday, July 4 beginning at dusk (set off from Adlai Horn Park)

Activities: 

Cedarburg's annual 4th of July Hometown Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4. The patriotic celebration filled with Americana continues in 2024 through the Cedarburg Historic District.

The parade, noted for showcasing award-winning Division 1 drum and bugle corps and local, patriotic displays will start at 10 a.m. CBS 58's Mike Curkov will be in attendance! Following the parade will be an all-day picnic in Cedar Creek Park, that includes live music and fireworks. live music and beautiful fireworks.

Activities: 

Library Square from 1-6 p.m., enjoy music, games, food, free ice cream and kids games.
