$50,000 Powerball ticket won at Portage Kwik Trip

PORTAGE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Portage has a winner!
A winning ticket of $50,000 was won at a Kwik Trip on E. Wisconsin St. in Portage. The retailer sold the winning ticket for the Wednesday, Jan. 31 drawing. 

Since August 2017, the Kwik Trip on E. Wisconsin St. has sold winning scratch tickets of $25,000, $50,000, $54,000, and $100,000 along with winning lotto tickets of $50,000 (2x) and $140,000.

Wednesday's $50,000 Powerball win is the fourth winning ticket of $50,000 or more in Wisconsin sold in the last 12 days. 

The current Powerball jackpot continues to climb. The estimated jackpot for Saturday, Feb. 3 drawing is $206 million, according to the Wisconsin Lottery.
