7 Brew Coffee hosts grand opening in Kenosha, donates $1,000 to local organization

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- 7 Brew held a ribbon cutting ceremony in Kenosha on Wednesday, June 5, to celebrate the grand opening of a new location.

During the grand opening, 7 Brew Kenosha presented a $1,000 donation to Women's and Children's Horizons, a local organization that advocates for victims of domestic and sexual violence.

“The entire Women’s and Children’s Horizons team is incredibly grateful to 7 Brew for their generous donation," said Kate Cothell, fundraising and donor development manager for Women’s and Children’s Horizons, according to a release. 

The 7 Brew will also be hosting a swag day on Saturday, June 8, where customers who purchase a large drink will receive a free T-shirt at the new location. 

The coffee shop is also adding around 50 jobs to the Kenosha area.
