MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some Milwaukee-area pilots had a chance to show off their flying skills on Saturday.
It was the 7th annual Spot Landing Contest at Milwaukee County's Timmerman Airport.
Pilots were graded on their landing accuracy as they compete for prizes.
The goal was to land as close as possible to a white line painted on the runway.
"So the runway that we are using today is about 4,000 feet long, when you think about having to land a plane on a specific point on a runway and you're able to land that plane, within, the winner should be within 5-10 feet --that's pretty accurate," said Harold Mester, Marketing Director at Milwaukee County Airports.
The grand prize winner was awarded a $200 gift card.
Trophies will be awarded to second and third place.
And of course -- there's always bragging rights for the next year.
