8-year-old child dies after being struck by vehicle in River Hills

CBS 58 RIVER HILLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An 8-year-old child died after being struck by a vehicle in River Hills early Thursday, Nov. 21.
It happened in a cul-de-sac on Pelican Lane around 7:40 a.m.
The River Hills Police Department tells CBS 58, the driver of the vehicle and victim were related, but the incident was unintentional.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says the 8-year-old boy was taken to Children's Wisconsin and pronounced dead.
It happened in the cul-de-sac on Pelican Lane in River Hills.
