84-year-old man killed in lawn mower crash in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim of a multi-vehicle crash in Franklin as 84-year-old David Woznicki Sr.

According to a report from the ME's office, Woznicki was riding a sitting lawnmower when he was struck from behind by a minivan due to the driver not being able to see the lawnmower.

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle crash that happened in Franklin Monday night, June 10.

Police were called to West St. Martins Road, just south of Puetz Road, around 9:20 p.m.

An 84-year-old Franklin man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Those involved in the crash remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The Franklin Police Department was assisted by the Franklin Fire Department, the Racine County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit.
