MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- 90 high school students were recognized for completing their college courses.
It was through the M³ Dual Enrollment Program.
M³ is a partnership between MPS, UWM, and MATC. This was their 6th graduating class on Wednesday, June 5.
The seniors, coming from more than 12 MPS schools, completed between 16-22 college credits for free at the two colleges.
They studied social studies, english, mathematics, and more.
"They're connecting with peers all over the school district, really just learning, at least getting a taste of what college life is like," said James Sokolowski, postsecondary engagement coordinator with MPS.
"I feel like without this program, I wouldn't be prepared for college," said Monserrat Rojas Gamboa.
Rojas Gamboa tells us she got a full ride at UW-Milwaukee and plans to be a nursing student.
