Car strikes tree at a high rate of speed, driver in critical condition

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One person is in critical condition after striking a tree at a high rate of speed.
It happened around 9:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 near 76th and Green Tree Rd.
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the crash.
The victim, a 36-year-old Milwaukee man, was traveling southbound on N 76th St. when it struck the tree.
He was the sole occupant of the car, and he was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.
