MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- After a tough 4-8 season in 2025? Badgers' players eligible to be drafted are trying to prove their worth to all 32 NFL teams represented in Madison.
"Just putting my best product out there," Defensive Lineman Mason Reiger says. "I hold myself to a high standard and I would have liked to test a little better. I had a little more in me from my pretest and everything like that. But I put some good numbers out there. And I hope some people noticed that."
"I just wanted to show I'm a competitor," Wide Receiver Vinny Anthony says. "Just because I had decent times there. Just who I am. I feel like I had better PR times. So that was the goal today to get better times."
"You know I just wanted to show I was a big athlete out there," Offensive Lineman Riley Mahlman says. "You know unfortunately I wasn't able to run the 40 today. Just getting dinged up about a week ago. Luckily, I was able to push through everything else. I was getting PRs."
"I don't have to worry my first time seeing someone with a Rams hat on or a Bills hat," Defensive Lineman Ben Barten says. "Being the first time right here. I get to see that every Tuesday Wednesday at practice. That's why this is a great place to be."
We'll find out if all the hard work pays off next month. The draft in Pittsburgh this year. Of course, last year it was in Green Bay. April 23-25.
