MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bronzeville has a rich African American entertainment and arts scene that dates back to the early 1900s, and it's still celebrated today.
Bronzeville Week highlights the history and culture that has made the neighborhood.
It all started this past weekend with a 5K run/walk and an arts and cultural festival.
Here's a list of everything happening this week-- from Trolly Rides to Pancakes and Poetry:
Bronzeville Week is also a good excuse to check out the businesses in the neighborhood. The Bronzeville Collective is home to 30 artists and entrepreneurs.
