A robbery and argument lead to separate shootings on Milwaukee’s north side

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The robbery of a small business on Milwaukee’s north side turned into a shooting Friday night.   Fortunately, the wound to the victim, a 39-year-old man, was not fatal.   According to the Milwaukee Police, the man, an employee of a store at N 19th and W Hampton, was shot during the course of an armed robbery around 7 PM Friday.   The robbery and shooting are still being investigated and the MPD is searching for suspects.

Around 3:15 AM Saturday, a man suffering from a gunshot wound walked into a local hospital seeking treatment.   According to the MPD, it appears that the victim, who is 39-years-old, was shot as he attempted to break up an argument between two other individuals.   The shooting occurred in the area of N 55th Street and W North Avenue.   Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
