Admirals on brink of elimination after game 3 loss

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Admirals are one loss away from being eliminated in the Western Conference Finals after Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Coachella Valley Firebirds.

The Firebirds took control right away, scoring 31 seconds into the game, eventually grabbing a 4-0 lead early in the second period. Marc Del Gaizo and Fedor Svechkov scored in the second for Milwaukee to cut the lead in half, but they never got closer.

The Admirals are trying to avoid being elongated by the Firebirds for the second year in a row.

Game 4 will be Thursday at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
