Admirals stay alive in Western Conference Finals

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Admirals kept their Calder Cup dreams alive with a 7-2 win in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. The win comes on the 20th anniversary of the Admirals only AHL title.

The Coachella Valley Firebirds still own a 3-1 series lead.

Milwaukee struck first in Game 4 with Wade Allison scoring 7:26 into the game. After trading goals, they were tied at two going into the second period.

In the second Fedor Svechkov and Zach L’Heureux each scored giving the Ads a two-goal lead that they’d never surrender. Brookfield’s Troy Grosenick finished with 23 saves in net.

The Admirals are now 5-0 in elimination games this postseason.
