Alro Steel Milwaukee moves to former Central Steel building

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Alro Steel is moving to a new location in Milwaukee on Monday, Nov. 23. 

Alro purchased the former Central Steel building, 4343 S. 6th Street, in Milwaukee in early 2019.

Officials say the project began with a 100,000 square foot addition and renovations to the existing warehouse and office space. 

The completed facility is 205,00 square feet, and allows Alro to expand their bar and sheet product offerings, processing capabilities, and to focus on cut-to-size metals and next day delivery to Wisconsin customers, according to a news release.
