MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Alverno College has been evacuated following a bomb threat Monday, March 25.
Police say no injuries have been reported.
Below is a statement from a spokeswoman for Alverno College:
"Alverno College officials and the Milwaukee Police responded to the threat of a bomb on campus the morning of March 25. An initial search of campus revealed that there was no threat, but the college remains closed the rest of the day, including all day and evening classes.
All students, faculty and staff were safely evacuated, as was the Alverno Early Learning Center.
The safety of the Alverno community has and always will be our top priority."
Milwaukee Police say they are still actively investigating.
