AMBER Alert cancelled for 8-year-old girl in Waushara County; 1 arrested
National Center for Missing & Exploited Children WAUTOMA, WAUSHARA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The AMBER Alert has been cancelled. She has been found safe in Nebraska.
She was found by the Nebraska State Patrol.
Authorities suspect Lentz's mother took her to meet with 44-year-old Joseph Nicpon. Nicpon, according to police, was prohibited from having contact with the mother and daughter.
Wautoma police say that Nicpon is now in custody.
WAUTOMA, WAUSHARA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Officials have issued an amber alert for 8-year-old Irene Lentz, from Wautoma, Wisconsin.
According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Irene may be in the company of Joseph Nicpon and Betty Lentz.
Both of whom are considered suspects as officials say there is concern for Irene's Safety.
Irene was last seen on Fri. April 3, at around 12:55 p.m., in a vehicle headed westbound along I-90 in Monroe County, near Sparta.
Officials say she was spotted in a 2005 blue Buick Terraza, with license plate BCU3028.
Irene is described as having brown hair, with hazel-colored eyes.
Joseph Nicpon is described as being 6-foot tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. While Betty Lentz is described as being 5-foot-3 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
